We’re working on scheduling an early-afternoon practice at the place we’re dancing: SW Second Avenue downtown, from Burnside to the other side (south side) of the Ankeny Alley/entrance to Saturday Market. I’ll let you know how that shapes up. We’d love to have all of our dancers, checked in, and ready to dance by 2:45 pm – please plan for that! We hope to have zombie make-up folks on hand, too; will let you know. We dance at 3 pm…. in the streets! More info to come as we tie up our T’s and I’s.
Thrill the World Portland is a fundraiser for SMYRC, Portland’s Sexual Minority Youth Resource Center. We request five dollars per dancer, collected at check-in on the 24th. More information on SMYRC at smyrc.org.
**More opportunities to dance Thriller in public will come – I’ll let you all know what they are, towards the end of the month…
Let me know if you have questions. Let’s make this the Thrilliest year ever.
