It’s close to midnight… and we’re counting down to Thrill the World’s annual Thriller dance, on October 28th, three pm at Irving Park!
Here’s our facebook event page.
We will also be accepting donations. We ask you for five dollars apiece – all proceeds go to KBOO Community Radio and Portland Tenants United.
Our upcoming practices (feel free to drop into any or all of them):
- Friday, October 20th: 6-8 pm, at 2620 NE Fremont (east side of the building)
- Friday, October 27th: 6-8 pm, at 2620 NE Fremont (east side of the building)
We will let you know if we schedule more practices (we’re always looking for sites to host; can you help?). You can also practice at home – instructional videos are on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/INESSENS
Also! Kara and crew have organized a Thriller dance at Portland State, for this year’s Portland State of Mind 2017! Students, faculty, and staff will be performing in PSU’s Urban Plaza on Tuesday, October 17th between 12 and 2 pm (official time to be determined) and combining it with the #PSUTweetup Throwback 90’s event. It should be a blast!
If interested, please fill the PSOM Thriller Interest and Participation Form, and you will receive updated information soon! Feel free to share this link with friends/family/colleagues at PSU or even off-campus. Some preliminary details, including rehearsal information are included. After completing this form, you will receive more information as it comes! Questions? Email Kara at email@example.com.
